Do You feel Boxed in? …Trapped? …Confused?

Do You feel Boxed in?

…Trapped?

…Confused?

If the answer is yes…

You are not in alignment with your Real Energy.

Real Energy is the energy that is truly yours.  When you are in your Real Energy you are not affected by conditioning and other people’s agendas.  Some of the benefits of being aligned in your Real Energy are:

  • More choices in your life

  • More able to follow your life’s purpose

The feeling of being boxed in is often reflected in our external environment.

Our home, whether a house, bungalow or flat is basically a set of boxes, rooms, within a larger box, the outer walls of your home.  We often go to work in a box, a bus or a car.  Then often work in another box, an office, shop, factory etc.


Get outside, solution 1

Go outside.  In your garden you can stretch your body and fill your lungs with natural air, as opposed to the trapped air in your home.

Your local park will provide more space to move around and get your blood pumping.

Even better is to head out to your nearest hill or a space that is open and you can see the sky and into the distance.  If possible walk there and with every step allow your mind and body to unwind and clear.  Help this process along by paying attention to:

  • how it feels to be outside.
  • how each step feels.
  • how your body feels when walking.
  • let your thoughts come and go, without following any of them.


Gain a new perspective, Solution 2

From the top of the hill or open space, look at the sky and across the landscape in front of you and down below you.  From this new physical vantage point you can gain a new perspective of your physical world.  Once you have taken this in, your attention often turns inwards.


See your life as if it is laid out in front of you, like the landscape

What do you see in this picture of you’re life…


  • That you like?


  • That looks out of place?


  • Is not serving you?


  • You are not serving, which were sources of great joy?


Give yourself time to notice each one at a time and take note of what you see.  Beating yourself up or getting lost in judgemental thinking will keep you in your box.



Can you see the mental boxes that you have created in your life?

Do you have work friends, friends from your childhood, drinking buddies, house mates, spiritual friends…. ?  Do you keep them separate from each other?  Do your different groups of friends serve different purposes for you?

This is just one way we divide our life up into boxes.


Our beliefs and opinions form strong mental boxes.

Our beliefs and opinions often create boxes of our identities, which attract other people who fit into these boxes.  Then we spend our time, money and energy protecting our identities and defending the walls of our boxes from attack; from other ideas, beliefs and opinions.   This prevents us from experiencing other ideas and ways of doing things.


Are your boxes really yours?

Did you create your boxes?  As you go through life your parents, family, teachers, friends and society?  Such people can fill you with conditioning.  It is all too easy to take on these thoughts, believes and behaviours as your own.  This then becomes who you believe you are. From this point it is possible to blindly go about life acting from this conditioning.

You shape each experience you have so it can easily and neatly fit into one of your boxes.

Some of us never take the opportunity to stop and question our boxes.  For some this only happens as a result of illness or through the shock of losing someone important to us.

Stand outside in the open space and gain a fresh perspective of your life.


Is it time to break out of the box?

Is it time to do some tidying up or break out of some of your boxes?

    What i do not understood is actually how you’re not actually much more well-liked than you may be right now. You’re very intelligent. You realize therefore significantly relating to this subject, produced me personally consider it from a lot of varied angles. Its like men and women aren’t fascinated unless it’s one thing to accomplish with Lady gaga! Your own stuffs outstanding. Always maintain it up!
